It is the flower of Osmanthus fragrans Lour. of the Oleaceae family (Osmanthus Flower).
【Appearance】
The dried flowers are mostly shrunken into small clusters, with several flowers growing together. They are yellow or yellowish-brown, and the color deepens with prolonged storage. After unfolding, the calyx has 4 lobes, the lobes are dentate, and the corolla has 4 lobes, the lobes are oblong, 2~3mm long. It has a pleasant fragrance.
