【Botanical Origin】
It is the whole plant of Lysimachia capillipes Hemsl., a plant in the Primulaceae family.
【Characteristics】
An annual herb with a fragrant odor. The lower part of the stem creeps along the ground, with adventitious roots growing at the nodes and erect branches emerging, reaching a height of 30-60cm. The stems are slender, quadrangular or pentagonal, with narrow winged ridges, and glabrous. The leaves are simple, alternate, with ovate or ovate-lanceolate blades, 3-6cm long and 7-17cm wide. The apex is acuminate, the margin entire, the base cuneate. Pinnate veins with 4-5 veins on each side, light green and papery. The petioles are 2-6cm long.
