Flowers and flower buds of Rutaceae Citron Citrus medica L. var sarcodactylis (Noot.) Swingle.
【Characteristics】
Dried flowers, about 1.5cm long, with a short pedicel of about 2-5mm; calyx cup-shaped or slightly pentagonal, slightly wrinkled; petals 5, long and lanceolate, 1-1.2cm long, 3-5mm wide, curled inwards on both sides, light brownish-yellow on the outside, with brownish-brown spots; stamens numerous, yellowish-white, 0.8-1cm long, growing around the flower disc; ovary narrowly pointed at the top, light in weight, and brittle in texture. It has a fragrant aroma and a slightly bitter taste.
