Semi-open flowers of Chinese Rose Rosa chinensis Jacq., family Rosaceae.

 【Characteristics】

The flowers are spherical, 1.5-2cm in diameter, and often mixed with scattered petals. They are purple or pink. The petals are mostly oblong, with textures, the center is yellow stamen, the calyx is green, the apex is divided into 5 lobes, and the lower end has an enlarged obconical or obovate receptacle. It is brittle and easily broken. It has a slight fragrance and a light, slightly bitter taste.
