The seeds of Impatiens balsamina L. of the Balsaminaceae family.
[Characteristics]
The dried seeds are slightly flattened-spherical to flattened-ovoid, 2.5-3mm long and 2-3mm wide. The seed coat is reddish-brown or brown, and the surface is densely covered with small pits and orange-yellow short stripes. The hilum is located at the narrow end of the seed and is slightly protruding. The texture is hard.
