【Botanical Origin】
It is made from the mature fruit of Rutaceae plants such as Citrus tangerina Hort. et Tanaka, preserved in honey.
【Characteristics】
The fruit is oblate, 4-4.5cm in vertical diameter, and 6-7cm in transverse diameter. The top is flat or slightly concave, the base is ridged and radial; the fruit surface is bright, orange-red, with fine and flat oil glands; the peel is easy to peel off, the segments are about 10, kidney-shaped; the central column is hollow; there is little juice, sweet and sour. There are 20-30 seeds, flat oval, the outer seed coat is gray-white, the inner seed coat is light brown; polyembryonic. After being preserved in sugar, white sugar crystals appear on the surface.
