It is the mature fruit of the Palm family Palm Trachycarpus fortunei H.Wendl.

 【Characteristics】

The dried fruit is kidney-shaped, 7-9mm long, and 5-7mm in short diameter. The surface is dark grey-brown or grey-yellow, with reticulated wrinkles, sometimes peeling off, the inside is smoother, and a short fruit stalk or a circular fruit stalk scar can be seen in the kidney-shaped depression. The texture is firm and hard. After peeling off the pericarp and seed coat, two thick brown endosperms can be seen. It has no odor and a bland taste.
