【Botanical Origin】
Dried pith of Juneus decipiens (Bach.) Nakai, of the Juncaceae Rush family.
【Appearance】
It is a thin cylinder of varying lengths, generally 50-60 cm long and about 2-3 mm in diameter. The surface is white or yellowish-white, with fine longitudinal stripes and numerous extremely small pores. It is light in weight, easily broken, and the cross-section is spongy. It is odorless and tasteless.
