【Characteristics】
It is oval, rhomboid, or irregularly flaky, mostly thin at the edges and thick in the middle. Sizes vary, generally 1.5-2cm long, 0.5-1cm wide, and 1-2mm thick. The edges are grayish-white, and the center is bluish-gray, resembling a tortoise shell. It is translucent. It is hard and brittle, easily broken into irregular rhomboid or columnar small pieces. It has a slightly fishy smell and a slightly salty taste.
