【Formula Analysis】
Internal collapse due to cold, hence the use of ginger and aconite to warm the middle Jiao and assist Yang; Notopterygium Root to unblock joints; honey-fried Licorice Root to benefit the spleen; Schisandra Berry, Clove, and Agarwood are used to stop hiccups and improve appetite; Fennel, Aucklandia Root, and Tangerine Peel are used to dissipate fullness and relieve distension.
【Actions】
Internally promotes the drainage of carbuncles.
【Indications】
Treats carbuncles and sores, yang deficiency with internal cold, weak pulse, cold body, or watery and thin pus, epigastric fullness, borborygmus and abdominal pain, loose stools, vomiting, shortness of breath, hiccups, thirst, inability to lie down comfortably, and occasional delirium.
